Around and about. Stanton Park, Nighingale woods and Thames Meadow. Good signs of Spring with loads of Hawthorn blossum, Birds singing and bathing, and bank voles Looking for food.

Lower Moor Farm

Lower Moor Farm Reserve

A morning visit to Lower Moor Farm. Loads of common birds and nice weather for a walk around the lake and through the woods. Took all my photos from the cover of bushes with my Panasonic G9 and Leica 100-400mm lens.

First one is a Cuckoo I saw perched at Twitchers Gate.

Holga Lens on Sony a7

I fitted a Holga, fun plastic (Cult) Lens on my Sony a7 and I'm very pleased with the result

Some results from an afternoons walk about with the lens and camera

 

Results from the Holga would not be to every persons taste. But it is a unique look

Since these shots I have used the lens for fun portraits and glamour with pleasing results.

IMO a mirrorless full frame camera is fantastic for the lens.
